Continuous Publication and Internationalization Mark REPeC’s New Phase in 2025
Letter to REPeC Readers, Editors, and Reviewers
Dear All,
It is with great enthusiasm that we announce a new phase for the Journal of Education and Research in Accounting (REPeC). As a scientific journal maintained by the Brazilian Academy of Accounting Sciences (ABRACICON), our mission is to promote and disseminate high-quality knowledge in the field of accounting. In order to maintain our commitment to scientific quality and relevance, we are implementing important changes to our publication model.
Starting in 2025, REPeC will officially adopt the continuous publication model, which will allow for faster dissemination of articles and greater visibility for authors. This change will be accompanied by a significant visual and editorial redesign, reflecting our commitment to innovation, to the reader’s experience, and to the highest academic standards.
Our goal with these updates is to further strengthen the journal’s national and international presence, with a focus on new indexations and the inclusion of REPeC in the SciELO system. We believe these developments will help establish REPeC as one of the leading references in the field of accounting.
We rely on the continued support of our academic community—authors, reviewers, and editors—to make this new phase a milestone in the advancement of accounting science.
Sincerely,
Gerlando Lima, Editor-in-Chief
